My most beautiful piece of work if my opinion counts. I made it last year and i thought i should add it to my gallery. Blade and handguard have some hacks from tournaments and training. Its designed to be replica of longswords used in scandinavian region at Viking Age with small difference - the blade edge is 2mm wide so that it could be used for reenactment purposes. Silver inlay on handguard and pommel took for ages... and my fingers probably hate me :D lots of hammer and chisel work. On the blade are two poems from Elder Edda whith i think suitable for a tool of destruction. Scabbard is made from veg tanned leather and fittings are from bronze - also lots of chiselwork. Im not very happy with the picture and composition but i hope i can use professional photographer one day :) .

Sword is an absolutely breathtaking example of *Ugrik's skills and talent in metalwork. Although the fullview is rather huge, I recommend to take a closer look and be amazed by all details - the silver inlays, the poem and all chiselwrok. ( Featured by `Myana )

it is simply beautiful. i would personally have a more pointed tip, but it is still very amazing without it. You are truly an artisan in your work. If you were to sell it, i would be the first to buy it i'm sure. the way you crafted the blade added such a beautiful shape and edge. The the design on the hilt and pummel only add to the beauty of the overall design. The first thing that caught my eye was how the design across the blade fell perfectly into place making it just simply amazing in all ways, well done.

It's good to see a hand forged blade being used as it's intended. This is beautiful work

This is absolutely beautiful! I love the runes on the fuller and crossguard, but my favorite is the Valknüt triangle knot on the pommel. Excellent work! I think the small nicks in the blade make it look battle-worn. 10/10!!!

Hehe - it is quite battleworn. I have won two tournaments with it so the nicks are all for real. Bloody latvian knights blocking blows with their blades :D

Hey!

I've been in love with your sword for a few months, and I'm thinking about making a tattoo of it. I would like to ask your permission and, if you agree, a few more pictures of the blade and the runes in details and the name in english of the poems. I would be really really happy if you agree with that, and I would send you a picture of the work done, if you want.

Looking forward to your answer,
Camila.

overall a very impressive sword, but it was the pommel that really got my attention. The inclusion of the Valknot is really awesome. I think the All-Father would approve!
